Cricket, Harvest time and Warmer Weather

by alison on November 21, 2013

The weather has been a bit mixed, with everything from cold and gray 18 degrees up to hot and sunny 36 degrees experienced over the last few weeks.  The warmer weather does seem to be more the norm now though as we prepare for the Summer – my favourite time of year.

The golden fields and blue skies look gorgeous as the local farmers are flat out harvesting and trying to finish it all by Christmas.  And the local Cricket teams are in full swing – we have a few home games in Port Neill over the next few weeks.

Love must be in the air as we had a successful wedding proposal in our flats last week, celebrated amongst 17 family and friends, and we are fully booked out with wedding guests (different couple!) next weekend.

We are getting one of our bathrooms renovated next week – can’t wait to show you before and after photos of that next month!

I leave you with a few photos taken since my last post.

Alison 🙂
